The Woman In Timber
This beautiful
drawing was created in 1985 by Mary Ida Hendrickson as a gift for Helen
Finney, a founding member of Alaska Women In Timber.
Over the
years, the drawing has come to symbolize Federated Women In Timber, and
today, represents for our members the courage and leadership of women in the
forestry community.
The original
drawing hangs in the Alaska Forest Association office in Ketchikan, Alaska.
